Sindh Government is set to establish new industrial zones as part of its Sindh Industrial Policy, according to Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo. The announcement came during a meeting held at the Sindh Secretariat here on Saturday, which included Secretary Industries and Commerce Muhammad Yasin Shar Baloch, MD SITE Ghazanfar Qadri, and representatives from various Chambers of Commerce across Sindh, including Karachi.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the proposal to establish the Sindh Industrial Development Corporation under a Public-Private Partnership, which received a warm welcome. The participants emphasized the need for industrial growth not only in Karachi but also in other districts of Sindh. Minister Dharejo assured the industrialists of full cooperation at all levels to ensure the success of the Sindh Industrial Policy.

He noted that the concerns and suggestions from industrialists would be presented to Sindh Chief Minister and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. A detailed briefing on the policy is scheduled to be given to the Chief Minister soon, and if necessary, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also be briefed. The Sindh Government expressed its gratitude for the cooperation of the industrialists, emphasizing the collective effort required to make the Sindh Industrial Policy successful.
