Sindh can’t develop until local govt issues are resolved: Naqvi


Opposition Leader in Sindh assembly and PTI MPA Firdous Shamim Naqvi has said that he condemns Murad Ali’s hate speech as the PTI has always done national politics. He was addressing a press conference at the Insaf House regarding the issues of Karachi. He said “We do not want to make our party Zardari’s party. Looking at the ten-year performance of the PPP, it seems that the PPP has taken some revenge from the people of Sindh.” Elaborating the PTI leader said education system, health system and other sectors, everything has been destroyed. Talking about MQM, he said, “There is another party in Karachi to which London is important. The party has vanished but remains of which are still in Karachi.” Naqvi stressed that PPP and MQM London have together destroyed Sindh. “The Sindh government could not pick up Karachi’s garbage. The performance of Sindh Building Control Authority is in front of everyone. We are ready to support the CM without any credit. Sindh is one. It should not be divided. The federation is also ready to help the Sindh government.” He said a man who calls himself the best mayor of Karachi was expelled from the party by the founder of MQM on allegations of corruption. Naqvi asserted that until local government issues are resolved, Sindh cannot develop and warned that if the Sindh government does not solve the problems of people, then we will march on the CM House. He further said that If the Sindh government does not work, then the governor rule can be imposed or Article 140 can be enforced, adding, “The Sindh government does nothing but make noise.” He viewed that in future, the people of Sindh will not vote for the PPP. Chief Organiser of PTI Amir Kayani also spoke on the occasion.
