Sindh Budget 2024-25: Big increase in salaries, pensions of govt employees announced

KARACHI – The government of Sindh on Friday announced 30 percent increase in salaries of government employees.

The Sindh budget comes with exciting news for public sector employees as PPP-led provincial government announced salary increment ranging from 22percent to 30percent. A 30percent raise has been granted to Sindh government employees in grades 1 to 16, while officers in grade 17 and above will see a 22pc increase in their salaries.

Pension Update Sindh Budget 2024

The government also decided to raise the pensions of government employees by 15% and set the new minimum wage at Rs37,000.

 Sindh Assembly’s budget session started after Friday prayers, with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah presenting the budget.

The provincial government aims to provide relief to the salaried class and poor individuals. 3
