TO avoid the clashes in segments of society as happened in the case of black coat and white coat those at the helm of affairs are required to devise policy for standard education, combined with the character building tactics to ensure that educational institutions are preparing the youth flocks ready to assimilate the texture of forthcoming social structure are crowned with education to tread the path of service to humanity not on the path of devil. Sick mind and perverse behaviour exhibit vices and disruption not only for those who harbour it but also for the whole societal structure. Sick minds cannot deliver for the good of the society; rather they erect stiles in the way of smooth progress of society. Dissemination of vices in society is tantamount to perverse the whole society.
Unfortunately our institutions have not imparted values which would augur well for community. Knowledge is not to cram some words and utter them at the right opportunity. Knowledge is the union of purified thoughts with well articulated ethics and deportment. Our academic institutions, miserably, could not succeed in character building. Education has become a multiplied business of accumulation of wealth. Even some private institutions have adopted tactics to impart its students to imbibe a specific pieces of knowledge to cram up and manage to successfully to pass even competitive exams. When such students will assume challenging positions, what would be their part in making and polishing a society. They, devoid of patience, characterlessness, ethical values, religious obligations, proper knowledge of Hadith and Quran and world history, history of Islam, even the creation of universe and mankind, what role they would play for the betterment of their fellow beings, Islam is a religion, having a trail of compassionate behaviour towards all mankind irrespective of cast and creed. Islam teaches its followers to serve the humanity, it abhors perversion and persecution in society – Islam teaches us to be too lenient even with the slaves and captives of war. Every Muslim is expected to raise the banner of peace, tranquillity and harmony in the society and even in the whole world.
It is the high time to rationalize our educational institutions to make these capable of delivering the same knowledge, which our pride worthy primitive Islamic institutions delivered in the nascent ages of Islam. Unfortunately our society has split up into factions. In every profession we pose ourselves that we count in such and such figures and we are powerful than others in the same way. PIC sad occurrence erupted Hooliganism was let loose by the educated elite, wearing black coat, who are hopefully assumed to work for imposition of the writ of law. Going deep down the root of afflictions, we should recount the spell of events. White coat having the incumbency of a “Maseeha” must be aware of the afflictions of patients and exhibit tolerance to the maximum.
None feels happy to enter the premises of hospitals, these are attended in acute agony and pain, otherwise people prefer going to physicians at the earlier stage of diseases. Affluent persons prefer going to private hospitals or fly abroad for their treatment. Only mediocrity feel compelled, due to the scarcity of funds, to enter the doors of Government hospitals. And if instead of treatment be meted out humiliation what would feel the ill-fated patients. Both the black coat and white coat are esteemed professions but the behaviour exhibited by both the segments is lamentable and shorn of etiquettes and ethical values.
