On the direction of Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the Department of Specialized Health and Medical Education released the statistics of Sehat Sahulat Card. 47 billion rupees have been provided with free treatment facilities. 803 government and private hospitals have been empaneled to provide free treatment facilities to the people of Punjab through sehat sahulat card.
According to the details, more than 4 lakh 46 thousand people in Punjab have done free dialysis through Sehat Sahulat Card. Punjab Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch said that so far more than 47 thousand people have received the facility of free coronary angiography through Sahat Sahulat card. So far in Punjab more than 38 thousand women have had normal delivery and more than 1 lakh 63 thousand women have got free cesarean operation facility through Sahat Sahulat card.
In Punjab, more than 30,000 people have undergone free hernia surgery through Sahat Sahulat card. So far, more than 28,000 people in Punjab have received free chemotherapy facility through Sehat Sahulat card. Secretary Health Punjab said that so far more than 1 lakh 30 thousand people have received the facility of free eye treatment in Punjab.
