SH&ME Dept approves ad hoc appointment of 11 Assistant professors for IPH

The Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education (SH&ME) Department has approved appointment of 11 Assistant Professors (AP) in different departments of the Institute of Public Health (IPH) on adhoc basis with a view to strengthen the public health sector and enhancing the facilities of medical education.

This was disclosed by the Dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Zarfishan Tahir, here on Monday

She said that the interviews for these vacant posts will be conducted from March 09 to 11 (Wednesday to Friday) and a total 71 candidates are appearing in the interviews.

Prof. Dr. Zarfishan Tahir said that all the appointments will be carried out purely on merit and eligibility bases.

She further said that the Punjab Health Minister, Dr. Yasmin Rashid is very keen to strengthen the medical institutions and her tireless efforts for this purpose are praiseworthy.

She said that the induction of 11 APs will be helpful to strengthen the faculty of the institution and the educational activities will be further enhanced at IPH.
