Sheikhupura to witness record development: Minister

Punjab Minister for Disaster Management Mian khalid Mehmood claimed on Wednesday that Sheikhupura district would witness record development in the near future as a number of mega projects are in the pipeline.

He said that completion of these projects would change the fact of the district and bring about prosperity for the people.

Khalid Mehmood said that the district would get a new look upon completion of phase in development.

“In the first phase, the provincial government has allocated funds worth Rs150 million for revamping of sewerage system, pavement of streets and carpeting of various link roads in the Urban area.

In the second phase, Lahore Road Ring Road from Saim Drain to Hiran Minar interchange, Rasoolnagar under bypass and other mega projects would be completed”, the minister informed.

PTI City President Mian Taimur Khalid, Senior Media Coordinator Sheikh Yasir Nadeem and other party office bearers were also present on the occasion.
