Sham-e-Ghazal was held on concluding day of the three-day cultural festival organized by Punjab Arts Council (PAC) in cooperation with Government Post Graduate College Attock during which Arshad Rahi and Rashid Rahi recited the famous ghazals of Mehdi Hasan and Ghulam Ali. Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed and Principal GPC Attock Prof Majid Bhatti were special guests on the closing ceremony.
Addressing the participants, Waqar Ahmed said that objectivity and scope of culture are limitless.
Those who stay connected with their culture in the world thrive in the world. The purpose of culture is to connect the past with the present to gain an understanding of one’s identity.
Its aim there is also to create the best society.
He said artists are considered to carry the message of peace around the world.
