DUBAI – Former captain of the national cricket team Shahid Afridi has been appointed as the ambassador of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the upcoming T20 World Cup starting next month.

In addition to Shahid Afridi, the ICC also appointed Indian player Yuvraj Singh, West Indies’ Chris Gayle and the world’s fastest athlete Usain Bolt as ambassadors.
Talking about it, Shahid Afridi said that the ICC T20 World Cup is very close to his heart.
