The team of Sindh Food Authority have conducted the operation in Baldia Town area. The action was taken on the direction of Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain and this action was supervised by Deputy Director District Kemari Bashir Khan.During the operation, the team of Sindh Food Authority inspected severalhotels, restaurants and fast food centers.
Fines were also imposed onseveral food establishments for poor sanitation and use of sub-standardcooking oil, while improvement notices were also issued and the peopleassociated with food items businesses were asked to obtain licenses fromSindh Food Authority.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Director Sindh Food Authority DistrictKemari Bashir Khan said that indiscriminate action was being takenagainst the sellers of adulterated food items and this action was beingtaken under the direction of Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussainl the team of Sindh Food Authority inspected several hotels, restaurants and fast food centers.
