The Met Office has issued a critical advisory for both Rural and Urban Sindh, warning residents of an impending severe heat wave expected to persist until May 28.

With the scorching heat bearing down, authorities are urging caution, particularly during the peak hours of 11 AM to 3 PM.

Direct exposure to sunlight should be minimized to avoid health risks associated with extreme heat. Farmers are advised to adapt their crop management strategies and adjust field work routines to align with the prevailing weather conditions. Similarly, livestock owners are urged to take measures to safeguard their animals from the harsh effects of the heat. The advisory serves as a stark reminder of the importance of preparedness and proactive measures in the face of adverse weather events. By heeding these warnings and taking necessary precautions, residents can mitigate the potential risks and ensure their well-being during this challenging period.
