LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday demolished several buildings in Lahore for violation of bylaws.
LDA team demolished illegal workshop near Hair Factory at Adda Plot on Raiwind Road. LDA team also demolished several other illegal buildings on Raiwind road and LDA controlled area near Lahore Ring Road. LDA also sealed a private school for violation of land use laws.
Chief town planner–II Azhar Ali carried out the operation with the help of enforcement team, Police and heavy machinery.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were issued to owners of these buildings before carrying out the demolition operation.
LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa has directed continuing indiscriminate operation against violation of bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use.
