Seven killed, several injured in DG Khan road mishap

Dera Ghazi Khan

At least seven people were killed and several others injured when a passenger van fell into a gorge here, police said on Monday. According to details, driver of a Dera Ghazi Khan bound passenger van coming Fort Minro lost control on steering due to poor condition of road and it plunged into a ravine near Rakhi Gaj.
Seven passengers including Riaz s/o Ayub, Muhammad Waqas s/o Islam, Wazir s/o Sher Dil, Imtiaz s/o Ahmad Baksh, Qismat Khan s/o Farooq, his son Muhammad Irbaz and another unidentified person were killed on the spot in the accident while several others were injured.
The police and local people through joint efforts pulled out the bodies and injured from gorge and shifted them to hospital.—INP
