Chairperson District Development Coordination Committee Hafizabad /MNA Saira Afzal Tarar said that services delivery and performance of institution improved in the country whereas whenever Muslim League (N) comes to power, the people of the country get relief significantly always while we do not believe in political of revenge and never indulge in negative politics.
She expressed these views while addressing the meeting of District Development Coordination Committee Hafizabad, on Saturday. Deputy Commissioner Sundas Irshad, MPA Auon Intisar Bhatti, prominent politician Sheikh Gulzar Ahmad, Haider Hussian Bhatti, ADCR Imtiaz Ali Baig, ADCF Hamid Nasir, ADCG Hamidullah and District Heads of different departments attended the meeting.
Saira Afzal Tarar said that progress and prosperity of the district Hafizabad was my top priority and we would get release required funds for earliest completion of mega projects of establishment of University of Hafizabad and construction of District Headquarter Hospital from the Punjab government. She said that it would be my first priority to make functional cardiology ward in DHQ hospital in view of increasing number of heart patients day by day in thedistrict Hafizabad so that better healthcare could be made available to heart patients at local level.
She said that the Punjab government was committed to eliminate corruption from province under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and present government would be succeeded to make the government institutions corruption free besides promotion of merit policy in all affairs of the government. She said that under the austere measures of the government, Municipal Committee Hafizabad was saved more than three thousand liter oil during a month and ‘Suthra’ Punjab Programmeof the Chief Minister Punjab cleanliness camping was underway successfully.
Pace of work on ongoing development projects was reviewed in the meeting and DC Sundas Irshad gave details briefing regarding execution of development projects. DC informed the meeting that special price magistrates were taking steps to ensure provision of SastyRooti and Naanto the people whereas encroachments were removed and necessary recreational facilities were also provided in the public parks. DC also told the meeting that district officers were also visiting hospitals and schools to improve availability of healthcare and medicines to patients in the hospitals and improving educational standard in the district.
