Pakistan is a cultural bouquet, we have to promote Pakistaniat for the development of our country, 65 percent of the country’s population is based on the youth, and to ensure national progress, we must promote our products and cultural things.
These remarks were made during a seminar titled “Pakistan our Identity” hosted by the Student Teachers Engagement Program (STEP) of Sindh Agriculture University, at Dr. A. M. Shaikh Auditorium Hall on Thursday. Addressing the seminar Pro Vice Chancellor, SAU, Dr. Jan Muhammad Marri said that Pakistan came into existence due to the sacrifices of our elders, our culture was the unique culture of the world, and the Pakistani nation was known for its hospitality and talent.
Dr. Aijaz Ali Khooharo, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Head of STEP said that Pakistan was a land rich in minerals and resources, we need to strengthen orientalism and ancient culture in our lives and we have to understand modern technology and science with progressive nations.
Prof. Dr. Shuja Ahmed Mahesar, Director of the Pakistan Study Center of Sindh University Jamshoro, proudly said that we take pride in being Pakistani and our nation possesses knowledge in fields such as science, industry, education, healthcare, sports, arts, and modern technology. We should maintain our clothing, food and religious traditions, and compete with other nations in teaching, research and modern science. Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar said that the world has shrunk in the present age of technology, and to establish ourselves as a cultured nation and promote Pakistani identity, we need to promote hard work and dedication.
While addressing the event, GhulamSarwarPanhwer of MH Panhwer Foundation said that we should attach importance to local products for the development of our country and should adopt them. On this occasion, the speakers also discussed the book “What is Pakistaniat” written by former Senator JavedJabbar.
