Seminar and walk arranged to mark National Voters Day in Badin

The Election Commission Badin district organized a seminar in the auditorium hall of government boys high school Badin to create awareness among the people about importance of vote.

The seminar was participated by District Election Commissioner, Azhar Hussain Tanwri, DEO secondary, Mumtaz Hussain Notkani, DEO primary, Muhammad Aslam Pathan, Deputy Director Social Welfare, Abdul Ghaffar Khoso, Election officer Mushtaque Ali Mastoi, Head Master Nisar Ahmed Khaskheli, Muhammad Khan Samoon, teachers and number of students.

While addressing the seminar District Election Commissioner, Azhar Hussain Tanwri said ECP Pakistan was doing its job efficiently.

He said 507 teachers,109 supervisors while Taluka Education officers as Assistant Registration officers were doing their job elegantly for ongoing process in the district.

Mr Azhar Hussain said it was incumbent upon stakeholders to create awareness among people in this regard so that no eligible to vote was left uncounted.

Mr Azhar Hussain said ensuring correct registration of voters at correct place was valuable for ECP to achieve its objective of free and fair elections.
