Bilal Ahmad has won the first position in the Seerat-un-Nabi competition, with Ahmad Zia and Sohail ending in second and third spots respectively.
About 100 educated youths from different parts of central Maidan Wardak province took part in the event, organised by the Information and Culture Department on December 27.
Information Director Qari Safiullah Raed told local media that Bilal Ahmad, a resident of the provincial capital, won the first place with 96 marks.Ahmad was followed by Ahmad Zia with 93 marks, obtaining the second position. Sohail got 92 marks and grabbed the third position.
He said Sohail, originally hailing from the Ba-tikot district of Nangarhar province, was cur-rently living in Maidan Wardak.
