Pakistan security forces have killed four Indian backed terrorists during an Intelligence Based Operation in Balochistan’s Kalat District.
“On December 27, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Kalat District of Balochistan, on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to an Indian proxy, Fitna al Hindustan, reads a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday.
During the conduct of the operation, forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, four Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell.
“Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area, the military’s media wing stated, adding that sanitisation operations were being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area.
“Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country”, the statement reads.
Pakistan has witnessed a significant rise in terrorist attacks, particularly in the bordering provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, since the Taliban have taken control of Afghanistan. Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Taliban regime to stop terrorists from using Afghan soil to carry out cross-border attacks.
