QUETTA – Security forces have killed 19 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan in separate operations across Balochistan over the past three days.
In the latest intelligence-based operation, security forces acted on information about the presence of terrorists between Kali Zaik and Kaghli. Two terrorists were killed and three others were injured during an exchange of fire.
One of the killed terrorists was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, alias Koh Yar. Security forces also recovered ammunition, magazines, hand grenades and material used for making improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
A day earlier, security forces killed seven terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Lajay area of Kharan district under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
Earlier, on August 15, security forces killed 10 alleged members of Fitna al-Hindustan in a major operation in Khuzdar district.
Security sources said operations against terrorist elements would continue until terrorism is completely eliminated, adding that all necessary measures would be taken to bring terrorist elements to justice.
