Secretary Information Nadeem ur Rehman Memon chaired a meeting on Monday to assess the progress of the draft document related to the Sindh Press, Newspapers, News Agencies, and Book Registration Act. The meeting was attended by a range of officials, including Director General (PRs) Muhammad Saleem Khan, Director Information (P&D) Muizzuddeen Peerzada, Director Information (Advt) Muhammad Yousuf Kabooro, Director Information (Press) Hizbullah Memon, Director Information Social Media Akhtar Ali Surhio, Director Information Legal Syed Azeem Shah, Director Information Publications Imtiaz Ali Joyo, Director Information Electronic Media Aziz Ahmed Hakro, and Director Press Information Abdul Majid Khan, along with other officers from the Information Department. The discussions aimed to streamline the legislative process and enhance regulatory frameworks for the media sector in Sindh.
