Hissein Brahim Taha, OIC Secretary-General, received at his office at the headquarters of the General Secretariat, Ambassador Hisham Fourati, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tunisia to the OIC.
The Secretary-General appreciated Tunisia’s pioneering role in the OIC and joint Islamic action.
The two sides discussed topics of common interest and ways to develop relations between the OIC and the Republic of Tunisia.
Meanwhile, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr Hissein Brahim Taha, received in his office at the General Secretariat Mr Mohamed Salah Sobhi, who presented his credentials as Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the OIC.
The Secretary-General welcomed the Jordanian Permanent Representative and wished him success in his duties. The importance of the relationship between the OIC and Jordan was emphasized during the meeting.—PR
