Lahore Education Authority (LEA) Thursday notified that schools will not be allowed to hold summer camps in the scorching heat.
Lahore education authority on Thursday said that those schools violating the authority’s orders will be dealt with as per the law.
Summer camps are annual feature in schools where students practice mostly co-curricular activities including sports for mental health.
The Lahore Education Authority took the decision keeping in view the heatwave that has been experiencing in the country.
Firstly, a warning letter will be issued to the school administration violating this order.
Secondly, a heavy fine will be imposed on the school after the violation is proved.
CEO Education Pervaiz Akhtar said the law will take it course if any school violated this order.
