On the direction of Provincial Minister Hari Ram Kishori Lal, the Department of Minority Affairshas started the process of distribution of educational scholarship cheque among 2,000 promising students belonging to the minority community on open merit.
It was revealed in the statement released here on Sunday. In the first phase today, 369 scholarship award cheques were distributed among the students of district Tharparkar and Mithi while 172 cheques have been distributed by Minister Hari Ram Kishori Lal in Mirpurkhas. The cheques will also be distributed in other districts soon.
The students, who received the scholarship awardappreciated the initiative of the Sindh Minority Affairs Department and welcomed it. It might be recalled that a few months ago.
