SBP Launches Revamped Official Website From July 1, 2026

The State Bank of Pakistan has announced the launch of its newly redesigned official website, set to go live on July 1, 2026, offering an improved digital experience for the public and key stakeholders.

The SBP upgraded the platform to make it faster, more accessible, and easier to use for citizens, businesses, financial institutions, researchers, journalists, and other users. Designed as a secure and modern digital hub, the new website marks a significant step in SBP’s ongoing digital transformation efforts and reflects its focus on innovation, transparency, and stronger stakeholder engagement.

Built after extensive research and consultations with stakeholders, the website has been completely overhauled to better meet user needs. It features a simplified layout and an intuitive navigation system, allowing visitors to access information more efficiently. Improved search tools and advanced filtering options will make it easier to locate official data, regulations, circulars, publications, press releases, and other important resources.

The platform is fully optimised for desktops, smartphones, and other devices, ensuring a seamless browsing experience across multiple screen sizes. To improve accessibility and public outreach, the website also offers both English and Urdu language options, enabling users to switch based on preference.

In line with international accessibility standards, the new portal has been developed following Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), incorporating features designed to improve usability for people with disabilities. Its reorganised structure presents important sections such as monetary policy, banking regulations, financial market data, and other central banking functions in a clearer and more organised format while retaining access to older content.

SBP said the redesigned website strengthens its ability to engage more effectively with the public and supports its broader goal of using technology to provide efficient, transparent, and citizen-focused services. By improving access to reliable information and digital resources, the platform is expected to promote financial literacy, strengthen inclusion, and support informed decision-making within Pakistan’s financial system.

While the new website will now serve as the main digital platform for all institutional information and publications, users who still wish to access the older version will be able to do so through a dedicated link on the homepage until July 15, 2026.
