Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has launched a robust grand operation against illegal constructions in the city, resulting in the demolition of more than 61 unauthorized structures. The operation targets various illegally built wedding halls, shops, floors, and portions that lack official approval.
The extensive crackdown is being carried out in collaboration with the district administration across several areas, including District Central, District East, District South, and District Korangi.
The joint efforts between the SBCA and local authorities aim to tackle the growing issue of illegal construction head-on. Abdul Rasheed Solangi, the Director General of SBCA, stated, “All actions are being taken against constructions that have not received approval from the SBCA.
Illegal constructions will not be tolerated in any area of the city.” He emphasized that any unauthorized structures found within the city limits will be demolished without exception.
