Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has distributed 10,000 jackets to poor children in Sahiwal and Chichawatni under the “Winter Appeal” campaign. While talking to the media, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that only those who have served humanity will be remembered in history and not those who have palaces and great wealth. It is necessary to uplift the poor for the strengthening of Pakistan and our government is on the same mission.
According to details, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar visited Sahiwal, Chichawatni and Harappa on Saturday. On this occasion, MNA of PTI Rai Murtaza Iqbal, Rai Hassan Nawaz, former MPA Sheikh Muhammad Chauhan, Former Federal Minister Nooraiz Shakoor, former MPA Waheed Asghar Dogar, Sahiwal District President Tahrik Insaf Rana Aftab Ahmed and District Chairman Overseas Commission Tayyab Chaudhry and others were also present.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar distributed 10 thousand jackets during a ceremony at Sarwar Foundation Rai Ali Nawaz Hospital and Kamirawala Town Sahiwal under the “Winter Appeal” campaign launched by Sarwar Foundation to protect poor children from cold. The school jackets were handed over to the concerned district officers of the education department. Governor Punjab said that there is no dearth of philanthropists in Pakistan. During the first phase of Corona, only through the Governor’s House did we donate 10 Billion rupees with the support of philanthropists and the business community. The Sarwar Foundation, in collaboration with philanthropists, has launched the Winter Appeal, under which we are distributing headgear jackets to more than 50,000 children in the first phase.
Responding to media queries, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that Pakistan has already suffered economic loss due to Corona and even now if Corona intensifies, measures like lockdown may have to be taken and Pakistan cannot tolerate such a situation, so we are repeatedly demanding the opposition to abstain from holding rallies.
