Special Assistant to Prime Minister for CDA Ali Nawaz Khan has said that he has a relation with megacity Karachi that is 16 years old.
He said the Sindh government is busy in making tall claims, as it has already made Sindh a Paris.
Addressing a press conference in Sindh Assembly, flanked by the leader of opposition Haleem Adil Sheikh, parliamentary party leader Bilal Ahmed Ghaffar, PMAs Jamal Siddiqui, Arsalan Taj, Adeel Ahmed, Shahnawaz Jadoon, Riaz Haider and PTI leaders Jalal Mashwani, Ali Mir Jat and others, he said that he lived in Karachi also in 1991 and the present Karachi is today worse than Karachi of that time.
He said he has not seen a single government bus running in Karachi, nor a government ambulance van. He said Karachi has nothing saving heaps of garbage.
He said Karachiites even do not get potable water as the megacity is given to tanker and hydrant mafia. He said civic infrastructure is in shambles in Karachi and the government is seen nowhere.
He said PTI government is in KPK for last seven years and in Center for last two and half years.
He said in KPK presently 2.5 Crore people are benefited from the RBT system. He said the third-generation public transport system in Pakistan is only present in the KPK. He said in KPK more than 1 million families have already been given the facility of universal health system.
He said while in Sindh even no dog bite vaccine is available. He said when the government of Sindh is questioned about this they jail the brave leaders like Haleem Adil Sheikh.
He said when a judge gives remarks about dog bite vaccine in Sindh he is given threats. He said there is no one to control AIDS in Sindh.
Awan said that the PPP has ruled Sindh for 35 years and it has also ruled the federal government.
He said these rulers have snatched Roti, Kapra and Makan from the poor people. He said in Punjab a wheat bag is available for Rs 850 but in Karachi poor people have to purchase it for Rs1300 to Rs1500.
He said we are working on mega projects in Islamabad. He said we are erecting a new city named Ravi Urban city.
He said for giving rights of people of Sindh it is necessary to send the government of Sindh packing.
However, Haleem Adil Sheikh said on the occasion that after 13 years the Sindh government has thought about buses.
He said PPP should stop dramas on the census as Murad Ali Shah and his uncle Nawaz Sharif has accepted the results of 2017 census. He said new elections of 2023 would be held as per the results of new census.
He said that the government is purchasing wheat from blue eyed boys only and not from ordinary growers. He said Bilawal House and Omni Group are not ready to give the people of Sindh their due rights.
He said in Sindh 476 people struck plea bargains but they are still present on their seats in government offices.
