Sania Mirza to undertake sacred pilgrimage of Hajj

MUMBAI  – Indian tennis icon Sania Mirza recently shared that she is honored to have the chance to undertake the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj.

In a heartfelt message on Instagram, Mirza, the former spouse of cricketer Shoaib Malik, expressed: “As I prepare for this profound journey, I seek forgiveness for any mistakes and shortcomings.”

Sania Mirza’s sister, Anum Mirza, and brother-in-law, Muhammad Asaduddin have also announced their plans to perform Hajj.

The Tennis star conveyed her deep emotions about traveling to the Holy city of Makkah, stating: “I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunity to seek redemption and spiritual renewal.”

She added, “I pray that Allah accepts my prayers and guides me on this blessed path. I feel deeply fortunate and grateful.”

Mirza requested her friends and followers to keep her in their prayers, expressing hope that the pilgrimage will help her return as a better person with a humble heart and stronger faith.
