Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab President and MNA Rana Sanaullah Khan on Saturday said that according to his information Rs 60 million have been given to 10 prosecutors in a case against him.
Rana Sanuallah said that he will enthusiastically fight war for securing justice in narcotics recovery case with the help of his lawyers. He said that the government has committed dacoity of Rs 180 billion on the pocket of common man in current flour and sugar crisis, adding that the ATMs have committed this dacoity.
The former law minister, in his talk to the media after appearing before an anti-narcotics court that had in the previous hearing reserved verdict in a petition seeking submission of video evidence against him claimed by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and recovery of his confiscated vehicle in a drug case, lashed out at the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He said that the ATMs of prime minister were already filled but these ATMs have been further filled and arrangements for next five 10 years have been made. He said that ATMs have eaten flour and sugar. He said, ‘PM saves five crore expenses and ATMs earn five billion rupees’. He said that the opposition should devise joint strategy on the dacoity committed with the masses and common man.
“Including their political allies, 22 crore people are also angry with the PTI, their allies should jump off the PTI’s boat as soon as possible otherwise they will sink,” he said. Rana Sanaullah Khan said that we were not ready to become part of any interim setup, adding that the only solution of the current situation is mid-term elections.
He said that the masses should be approached again and according to the decision of the masses the new government should be formed and this government should resolve the problems of people.
“It a matter of utter shame for the government to lodge fake drug cases against its own citizens, we are not being provided the required information in the case while a judge was transferred via [an order] using WhatsApp,” he stated.
“Innocent individuals are granted bails daily and Fawad Hassan Fawad has already secured bail, Khawaja Muhammad Saad Rafique, Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Muhammad Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and Khawja Salman Rafique will also be given bails.” He said that due to innocence these people will come out of jails.
“PTI was raising hue and cry over verdict in Musharraf’s case and condemned the public hanging [at that time], but yesterday passed a resolution in the National Assembly calling for public hanging [of convicts of sexually abusing and murdering children].”
