Director General Radio Pakistan Samina Waqar has said that Radio Pakistan is important source of information for all segments of society.
She said this while addressing the award distribution ceremony of program producers who participated in the competition “self produced documentaries and story writers of children” in Rawalpindi Radio Station on Thursday.
She said in this progressive world, we can meet the present challenges of modern media requirements with the production of compatible Radio programs.
She said, it is need of hour that we promote patience, tolerance and brotherhood in the society and educate the people regarding moral values and ethics through Radio Pakistan Programs.
Director General also urged the program producers to work hard and dedicatedly to uplift the standard of the programs. He also appreciated the station director for organising this healthy competition.—PR
