According to the details, the Safe City Command and Control Center under the supervision of CPO Safe City and Traffic ensured 72,975 different types of surveillance during the current year 2024, a public relations officer said.
He said that, in the month of January 22,470, in February 19,454, in March 18,910 and in April 12,141 suspicious activities were identified through safe city cameras.
Moreover, the police stations, markets, important buildings and events were also monitored, through command and control center.
With the help of Safe City surveillance cameras, the Police Operation Center identified 72,975 suspicious activities in the year 2024, including suspicious persons, motorcycles, vehicles, illegal activities, tinted glasses vehicles, e-challan defaulters, beggars, unregistered vehicles and impounded vehicles and bikes in different police stations.
