Price for goods and service among South Korean suppliers rose for the third consecutive month due to higher service prices, central bank data showed Friday.
The producer price index (PPI) added 0.1 percent in March from a month ago, after going up 0.2 percent in February and 0.4 percent in January each, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
Service prices among suppliers increased 0.1 percent last month on higher prices for the eatery and lodging service, caused by the lifting of measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Price for industrial products climbed 0.2 percent on expensive chemical products that offset cheaper oil products.— Xinhua
