The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee strengthened by 15 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Monday and closed at Rs 175.91 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 176.06.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market recorded at Rs 176.6 and Rs 177.2 respectively.
Similarly, the price of euro depreciated by 94 paisas and closed at Rs 200.97 against the previous day’s closing at 201.91.
The Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs1.53, whereas a decline of Rs 1.17 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 240.67 as compared to its last closing at Rs 241.84.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 03 paisas to close at Rs 47.89 and Rs 46.88 respectively.—APP
