Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meets today for Rabi-ul-Awwal moon sighting

ISLAMABAD – The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is all set to meet in Islamabad today for sighting Rabiul Awwal 1446 Hijri moon.

Chairman of the Committee Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the meeting while zonal committees will also meet in their respective region.

Azad will make an official announcement about the sighting of the moon in a press conference.

When is Rabiul Awal 2024 in Pakistan?

If the crescent is sighted in the today evening, the first day of holy month of Rabiul Awwal will be observed tomorrow, September 5. If it is not sighted, the holy month will begin from September 6.

Eid Miladun Nabi Date in Pakistan

If the Rabiul Awwal crescent is sighted today, the Eid Miladun Nabi, the birth anniversary of Holy Prophet (PBUH) will be observed on September 16, Monday.
