The launching ceremony of two books of Rubab Ayesha titled “Sada Bahar Chehray” and “Khaak Ke Aas Pas” was held at Punjab Arts Council (PAC) on Tuesday.

The event was presided over by the renowned writer Mr. Hameed Shahid. Naheed Manzoor and Director of Arts Council Waqar Ahmed participated in the ceremony as chief guests. Naseem-e-Sahar, Farkhunda Shamim and Dr. Sher participated in the event as guests of honor. Speaking on the occasion, Hamid Shahid said that in both the books, Ms. Rabab Ayesha has written sketches about those relatives in her domestic, journalistic and literary fields who had well in them and who were a torch for people. Some of these names are well-known in one way or another and some are only related to their caste, he added. Commenting on the books, Naheed Manzoor said that people are both good and bad. The certificate of goodness is given to those with whom the matter is good, and the same people with whom they deal with evil, then those people are called evil. But Allah has placed so much goodness in some people that they relate only goodness to God’s creation. The level of goodness within them is so extraordinary that they cannot harm even their mortal enemy.

Talking about her books, Ms. Rubab Ayesha said that the name of the book is so close to the truth that no one can deny its importance that we are as thin as dust, and we are molded from dust and one day we will turn into dust. Love of soil is in our nature, she added. Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmad said that Ms. Rabab’s sketches on Ayesha’s parents are very unique. Everyone’s parents are good, but those parents who are rich in consciousness and principled, shower their compassion and love on the children of others as well as on their own children, they become an example for the world. Rabab Ayesha is lucky to have parents who love knowledge and literature and whose personality influence can be seen in Rabab’s writing. Farkhunda Shamim, Dr. Sher Ali, Tariq Chaudhry, Rana Qaiser, Humira Ashfaq, Mazhar Shehzad Khan, Ahmed Mehsud, Professor Fouzia Maqbool, Saima Qamar, Tajur Shakeel, and Gul Arbab read articles and paid tribute to the author. A large number of people from the root cities participated in the event.
