Performs automation system of Rehmatul Lil Alameen Institute of Cardiology

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday said that the district development package worth Rs360 billion will revolutionise life of the common as the Punjab government is fully committed to ensure composite development across the province.

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was talking with different MPAs including Chaudhry Liaqat Ali, Saleem Sawar Jorra, Mian Muhammad Akhtar Hayat and Muhammad Arshad Chaudhry who called on the CM.

They discussed different issues with the chief minister including resolution of public problems in their respective areas.

Talking on the occasion, the CM said that up-gradation of Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital in Gujrat will facilitate the patients while Ram Pyari Museum will attract tourists.

The CM regretted that some areas were, intentionally, kept backward in the past, adding that the public welfare scheme will be completed on a priority basis to facilitate the common man.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar attended an MoU signing ceremony between Punjab Employees Social Security Institutions (PESSI) and Bank of Punjab for the issuance of Punjab Mazdur Card to 1.1 million labourers.

Earlier, the CM inaugurated the automation system of Rehmatul Lil Alameen Institute of Cardiology of social security hospital by unveiling the plague and inspected its various sections.

He was informed that patients will not be required to bring their medical reports or documents to this first paperless government hospital.

Provincial Ministers – Ansar Majeed Niazi, Raja Yasir, Mian Aslam Iqbal, labour secretary, BoP president, Chairman Punjab Social Healthcare Company Kh Jalaluddin Roomi, commissioner PESSI and others were also present.

Addressing the ceremony, the CM appreciated the automation system and announced to gradually automatise government hospitals across the province.

The mazdur card could be utilized for different purposes including treatment in PESSI managed hospitals, government and private medical institutions on panel, he said.

Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar paid a surprise visit to one window centre of Lahore Development Authority and enquired from the visitors about their problems.

He directed the digitization of LDA records along with the upgradation of the website, adding that issuance of NOC should be made possible without any delay. Provincial ministers Mian Aslam Iqbal, Asad Khokhar and others were also present.

The CM directed the DG LDA to immediately resolve the issue of an elderly citizen Khawaja Shahzad Saleem and submit a report to him. He directed to process the land transfer issue of another visitor namely Abdul Shakoor.

Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar in his message on the national day of People’s Republic of China, felicitated Chinese government, its leadership and people.

He said that bilateral ties between Pakistan and China have become an example for the rest of the world.

Pak-China friendship is invincible and people from both sides have affection for each other. Usman Buzdar said that China is a trustworthy friend of Pakistan.

He said that China has overcome poverty and unemployment in a short span of time and become an economic giant.
