Rotten narrative of weak, subjugated woman must be buried: Governor


Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri has said that empowered women are the symbol of the best and living societies, the rotten narrative like weak woman and subjugated woman should be buried, women are playing their role in the development of the country and nation alongside men.

He expressed these views while addressing the ceremony of the 9th All Pakistan Higher Education Commission Inter-Universities Women’s Shooting Championship. Governor Sindh further said that he welcomes the women participating in this competition.

This is an exemplary step of Education Commission and Jamia Sir Syed, Pakistani women have shown their unique role in front of the world.

While appraising of HEC he said that this is a wonderful effort of Higher Education Commission Director Javed Memon, Sir Syed University has always provided opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. Governor also thanked to Pakistan Navy for providing support and assistance for the championship.Governor Sindh said that he will provide all possible support in the promotion of healthy activities.

Earlier, in his welcome address, Higher Education Commission Director Javed Memon informed the Sindh Governor about the details of this shooting championship. He further informed that the Higher Education Commission is taking several steps to promote sports activities in universities.
