Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman called on the Deputy Naval Chief of Naval Staff Rare Admiral Muhammad Zubair Shafiq in Islamabad on Monday. During the meeting of GB CM with Deputy Chief of Naval Staff, he discussed matters pertaining to setting up of a naval school in Gilgit and Training center in Skardu. Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman lauded the role of Pak Navy for defending the motherland. He said opening of naval school and training center in GB will not only provide jobs to youth but also impart quality education and training to them at their doorsteps. Meanwhile, the GB Chief Minister took notice of a news item appeared in media about rescue 1122 in Baltistan. He directed high officials to address problems being confronted by the said department.—INP
