Assistant Advocate General Punjab Mian Ajmal was shot and injured by unidentified persons on a motorcycle on Lytton Road. IG Punjab Inam Ghani directed the police to arrest the accused immediately.
SP Law and Order Akhtar Farooq’s brother Assistant Advocate General Punjab Mian Ajmal was shot dead by unidentified persons outside his house.
The assailants were riding a motorcycle. Mian Ajmal was shifted to Services Hospital for medical treatment. Member Pakistan Bar Council Ishtiaq A Khan visited Mian Ajmal at Services Hospital.
Ishtiaq A Khan said that Mian Ajmal has no enmity with anyone, he was shot for resisting robbery, street crime has increased, police stopped the incident.
DIG Investigation Sharq Jamal said that Mian Ajmal had two bullets in his legs, however, his condition is out of danger, they are investigating various aspects including robbery and will seek help from Safe City cameras to arrest the accused. ۔
IG Punjab Inam Ghani, CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, DIG Operations Sajid Kayani and other officers inquired about the health of Assistant Advocate General Mian Ajmal while IG Punjab ordered the police to arrest the accused immediately.
