Caretaker Federal Minister for Human Rights Khalil George has said that rights of minorities in Pakistan are well protected as compared to India where religious minorities were under attack and state was direct involved in human right violations.
In interaction with PTV news on Wednesday, he said that the government of Pakistan had always taken several measures to protect the rights of people from all minorities, including Christians, Sikhs, Hindus and Parsis, and would ensure a secure environment for them in future as well.
“Pakistan will move forward according to teachings of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal, who called for peace and brotherhood among all religions” he added.
