A rickshaw driver was killed while he resisted a robbery in Shorkot area of Jhang District. The police said the incident occurred in Shortkot and the victim was identified as Mazhar.
He resisted a robbery upon which the suspects shot him. They then snatched cellphone, Rs40 and rickshaw from and fled away. DPO Sarfraz Virk said a police team is searching for the suspects. The suspects are believed to be from Khanewal and have three other cases registered against them at various police stations.
