The University of Management & Technology (UMT) arranged an impressive ceremony to mark Pakistan Defence Day on September 6. The ceremony commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony and playing of the national anthem. Rector UMT Dr Asif Raza, Director General UMT PofAbidSherwani and Registrar Saleem Atta attended the event.
Addressing the ceremony, DG UMT Prof Abid Sherwani shared that 6thSeptember reminds us of the precious accounts of unparalleled bravery, passion and fearless sacrifices of our armed forces for the protection of the motherland. He said that history is a witness to the unconquerable spirit of Momins, which has no price tag. Every individual of Pakistan should come forward for the prosperity and wellbeing of Pakistan at this time, Sherwani said.
