Retired inspector accused of illegal room allotment

A retired Inspector of Social Security was allotted a room in violation of the law besides various people have accused of corruption.

According a complaint, retired social security inspector Rab Nawaz Wattoo was allotted a room illegally besides he is running the PESSI Staff Federation (PSF), which is illegal as he can run the office four years after him retirement.

Divisional Correspondent of Pakistan Observer Faisalabad possesses the copy of a letter issued by PSO to Punjab Labour Minister with the subject “Allotment of A Room to representative of PESSI Staff Federation (PSF).”

it is clearly admitted by letter issuing authority that the above mentioned federation is not registered with the government of Punjab or Pakistan.

When contacted PSO to Labour Minister Javed Ahmad Khan said that though the inspector was allotted a room but it was cancelled later.

On the other hand, retired social security inspector Rab Nawaz Wattoo said that he is the incumbent PSF Punjab General Secretary, adding that there is no legal bar for him to run office of the union like for politicians.

“Yes there are many complaints against me but all these allegations or complaints are baseless and unfounded”, Rab Nawaz Wattoo declared.
