Respect for humanity, non-violent society, religious harmony stressed

Interfaith Council for Peace and Harmony Pakistan organized a National Interfaith Peace Conference here at local hotel Peshawar, which was presided over by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

Special Envoy of Love was Dr. Leif Hetland. The conference was hosted by Ambassador of Peace Maulana Syed Mohammad Abdul Khabir Azad Chairman Central Ruet e Hilal Committee Pakistan.

Addressing the conference, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor said that Islam is a religion of peace and security which serves humanity, brotherhood, He said that inter-religious harmony is direly needed in the challenges that Pakistan is going through today. I pay my deepest respects and congratulations to the Ambassador of Peace, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad for organizing the National Interfaith Peace Conference. Religious leaders should play their great role for national unity and peace in Pakistan.
