In South Waziristan Wana, a gift given by the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Lower Waziristan, the Tanai to Gul Kutch 42 km road was inaugurated by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on 12 November 2020, It has been 21 months but the road construction work not start yet.
In this regard, the people of Tanai area, Spin and Toi Khulla Tehsil were forced to close Main Wana to DI Khan and Wana to Zhob roads in protest.
Addressing the protestors, Malik Gulap Ka Ka Khel, Malik Maizar Khan Desi Khel and NC Chairman Saifur Rahman Wazir said that due to the bad condition of the road, we are facing severe difficulties during the journey,If there is an emergency, we cannot transport the patient to the district headquarters hospital, wana and private hospitals because of the bad condition of road.
The protesters said that the areas of Spin, Tanai, Toi Khulla, Gul Kach and Zermelon depend on agriculture.
