Research activities prioritized according to needs of country

Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has said that the research activities have to be prioritized according to the aspirations and needs of the country so that the fruits of the research activities in the universities benefit the country.

Research activities in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur have been aligned on the same lines for the past few years with the aim of contributing to the social and economic development of the country. The Vice-Chancellor expressed these views while addressing the ceremony of distribution of certificates to the best researchers of the year 2020 on behalf of the Directorate of Research ORIC. On this occasion, certificates of appreciation were awarded to 2 top researchers from each faculty.

The Vice-Chancellor said that the aim of our research activities is to bring positive effects in the society so that the university practically participates in the development of the society.
