Rescue 1122 emergency service in Sindh soon: Saeed Ghani

Sindh Minister for Information & Archives and Labor Saeed Ghani has said that Sindh Cabinet has set up a sub-committee to finalize the matters pertaining to the establishment of Sindh Rescue 1122 emergency service. Saeed Ghani said that this sub-committee, which would consist of the Minister for Health, Minister for Rehablitation and Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Law would go through the draft of the legislation relating to the establishment of Rescue 1122 Emergency Service in detail once again before finalizing it and presenting its suggestions in the next cabinet meeting.
He said informed that an Emergency Council had been proposed for the Rescue Service. The council would consist of 13 members, whose chairman would be the Chief Minister of Sindh, while two members would be from the private sector. Saeed Ghani said that in accordance with the draft of the legistation a Sindh Rescue Service Academy would be set up. The provincial minister said that various short and long term courses would be offered in this university for professional and skill development. He said that the purpose of establishing the proposed Academy was to include a team of experts in the emergency rescue 1122 service. Provincial Minister Information and Labor Saeed Ghani said this while addressing a press conference after Monday’s Sindh cabinet meeting. Sindh cabinet meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, while all the Ministers and Advisers including Sindh Chief Secretary and others concerned officers attended the meeting. The cabinet approved the formation of a committee to remove hiccups in the implementation of new Police Law.
