ISLAMABAD – A sigh of relief for Private sector employees ahead of Eid ul Adha 2026 as Paid holidays have been confirmed, along with fair overtime compensation for those required to work during the festive days in Saudi Arabia.
Under Saudi Labor Law, all private sector workers are fully entitled to paid Eid holidays, meaning NO salary cuts, NO deductions, and complete financial security during the festive break.
According to Article 112 of the Saudi Labor Law, Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Azha holidays are official paid leaves for all employees, ensuring that workers can enjoy the blessed occasion with peace of mind and full income protection.
For Eid al-Adha, a confirmed 4-day official holiday will begin from 9 Dhul Hijjah (Day of Arafah), giving employees valuable time to rest, travel, and celebrate with their families.
And there’s more good news, if any employee is required to work during the Eid holidays, companies must pay overtime at 1.5 times the normal wage, ensuring fair compensation for their extra effort.
This update is being welcomed as a huge relief for workers, guaranteeing both financial protection and well-deserved festive enjoyment during one of the most important occasions of the year.
