On the direction of Chairman Asif Khan Mehsud, Pakistan Red Crescent Society Merged Areas (PRCS-MA’s) with the help of the Norwegian Red Cross, Restaurant & Hotel Association, Traders, and Qomi Jirga distributed food and non-food items worth 7 million among the flood affectees at Tank and DI Khan.

These special packages have been arranged for the flood-affected areas on an emergency basis.

These packages were comprised of Sheets, Health & Hygiene Kits, bed sheets, blankets, Rice, and Sugar.

The Chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent for Merged Districts says that the flood has caused historical damage, while the houses of the residents of South Waziristan were destroyed not only in their native areas but also in Tank and DI Khan.

He said that this was the initial support for the flood-affected areas provided on an emergency basis by conducting the complete survey; supplementary packages will be distributed among the affectees in the southern districts.
