CM Murad addresses on special person day Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that his government is ready to serve the special people in every way and in this regard, will cooperate every department, NGO and will working for the promotion and protection of the rights of disabled with every organization.
The CM said this while speaking at the ceremony in connection with the International Day of Special Persons at the Chief Minister’s House.
The event was attended by special persons, businessmen, senior government officials, members of civil society and various NGOs working with special persons. Shah said that it is the third time that I have the honor to welcome you all here. You all are very dear to me.Before the outbreak of Corona epidemic in 2019, various business people, teaching faculty, students and parents are working towards the welfare of special persons.
Government of Sindh is already committed to improve the lives of special persons.The CM said that special people have been greatly affected by social injustices, discrimination and exploitation. Government of Sindh is taking all kinds of initiatives regarding privacy rights of special people, educational equality, health, rehabilitation, professional development and employment. This year 2022, the ‘theme’ of the United Nations is “Transformative Solutions for Inclusive Development”.
That is, innovation has an important role in changing the world.He said that special people will be given equal opportunities in employment, equality and playing field. In the light of the International Convention on the Rights of Special Persons and the Constitution of Pakistan, Sindh Government is making every possible effort through its established departments, agencies and authorities.
